Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli was extremely pleased with his side’s 2-0 win against Catania this afternoon, which allowed them to extend their positive run of form.
The Viola have made another important step forward towards the qualification to the Champions League, especially following Genoa’s 1-1 draw against Atalanta.
"It was an important day, we played a good game and obtained three important points," declared the former Parma coach to Sky.
"I saw a convinced and motivated team, with the right spirit and the will to go and search for the second goal. We have always played to win, from the start of the season.
"We have a great will to reach an extraordinary result and end the season in great fashion. There are still three games left and for the Champions League we still need six points.
"We can do it. However, I'm not thinking about Juventus, I prefer to look behind my back and keep Genoa at bay."
Fiorentina are currently two points behind Juventus and three points above Genoa as they currently stand in fourth place, with 64 points from 35 games played.
